I know I need to lower my expectations because some of them cause me stress and stress causes unwanted sin such as pride, gluttony and anger. I think it is ok to want the best for you, your family, your friends, your co-workers, etc. It’s when the pressure to perform is unrealistic, that is when it becomes a problem or you expect others to be at the same level as you and their not (they may never be).

Stormie’s response to dealing with expectations is to release them into God’s hands so the person can become who God made them to be and not what I want them to be.
